E. Jane Rutter

The Heart Behind Rutter Reflections

A life-longer lover of words, Jane wrote her first poem as a child and recalls it was about fairies flitting about a campfire. That fire would fuel her future and lead her to become an award-winning business owner, author and columnist. She founded a grant writing, training and publishing firm that earned the distinction of Service Business of the Year by the local Chamber of Commerce.

From there she went on to serve her diocesan church as director of stewardship and development. She is editor of the award-winning series of state funding directories, Corporate Funder, and author of The Self-Sustaining Non-Profit: Planning For Success.

With her heart open to God’s Word and direction, Jane writes the weekly award-winning column, Continuing the Spiritual Journey, garnering up to 25,000 readers. Her work can be found in Seasons of the Spirit: Reflections on Finding God in Everyday Life.

A Spanish speaker, she grew in South America. She and her husband, David, have three married children and seven grandchildren.
